Day 20

I weighed in and I lost 1.4 pounds which puts me at an even 262. My husband lost 9 pounds. I'm so proud of him! He mock complains though because "every week I lose a point of food!" You can really tell. I know that he's doing this to help me but I think he's proud of himself too. I went to the gym with Ashley. Then I went to torrid for panty shopping Ashley, Alex and Ruby. Ashley bought me a skirt in trade for some video games. As we walked though the mall I got a migraine. Then I got sick when we got home. I asked Ruby if I lost points cause I threw up.

Day 19

So after I vowed to be on track things got a little difficult. Josh and I went to help some friend's move (nothing was boxed up. nothing.) So they brought us Ledo's pizza. What I just had this huge struggle over yesterday and I was starving. I was good. I had three pieces at 3 points a piece. I'm proud of myself from walking away instead of falling on it in a ravenous orgy of sauce and cheese. I was tempted. But I walked away.

I wanted to get to the gym but it closed at 7 on the weekends. Tomorrow.

Ok here's the dealy'o

I am going to try not eat out anymore. It is BAD for me. I had 35 points of pizza. With my other food I was at 46 points with no weekday points. However with my exercise boost points I am back down to my max off 33 daily. I will do better!!!!!!

I went to the gym today. Two days in a row. I went with Ashley. We did a total of an hour and a half today. 20 min on bike then about 50 min on various weight machines and then 20 min on the treadmill. The tread mill is a fantastic way to end.

Oh and trust me, my weekly points are gone.

Day 13

Sunday... was a bad day. A long drive. My friend's grandfather who was kinda like another grandparent to me passed away. I found out while I was driving. I tried to stay ok but I totally lost it. I didn't go over my weekly points.

Day 11

Friday.... I woke up and ate a soft cereal bar and went to opening ceremonies. It was fun. I've met lots more new people (I can't keep them straight without putting notes on their business cards) I did a lot of classes. One woman named Joni Duncan was particularly excellent. Tired though. I ate at an amazing but cheap Italian restaurant named Demos. My room mate had an amazing 8 oz steak for 8 bucks. She kept saying that at Mortons(?) she would have paid at least $25 and said thank you.

Day 10

I didn't really sleep between Wed. and Thurs. I tried. It didn't really work. I checked into my hotel room early. I checked into the convention. I tried to sleep. I realized I didn't pack any work out appropriate pants (bah!) I ate Lunch at a place called Jacks BBQ. It was surprisingly good. I had a beef brisket sandwich with a side of green beans and a diet coke. Then I saw some sights with people and went on a trolley tour (on a bus because it was raining off and on.) For dinner I went with Shannon (the girl I rode with) to a nice little Italian/Mexican place. I got a spinach tortilla wrap and a cup of soup for dessert I had fruit. I was drained but all in all it was a great day. I met lots of new fun Slumber Sisters.

Day 9

Used 35 points... 33 daily and 2 weekly leaving me at 27 for the week. (I think... my journal is at home) I left last night at 11 for Nashville. I could barely get any sleep in the car. The candied ginger did wonders for me. I also think that perhaps I didn't get as carsick as I usually do because I was in a truck and higher up. I will post a full list of yesterday's food at some point.

When it's 5 am and you are driving a truck for the first time and you are cycling through the same country music cd and everyone else is asleep right before you hit the rumble strip you begin to wonder... "Can I do this? Will i be able to keep it up in a different city? Especially when I'm nervous?" Then you hit that rumble strip and think... "Oh Crap! Time to switch drivers!"

Day 8

Dinner is almost ready. I think I've been pretty good. Counting dinner I'm at 35. Ruby is making mexican meatloaf and home made mac and cheese. I think I was pretty good. Josh had a bad day. His raise at work didn't go through. He was good though and didn't binge when he was upset. I'm really proud of him. It also is inspirational for me, seeing him not reach out to food when he's upset. It's what he usually does and it's what I usually do. We're going to walk the track in a little bit. I'm leaving for Nashville tomorrow night. I'm gonna stay on track while I'm gone though. If I have wireless while I'm gone I'll post. If not I'll post when I get back.

Here is a picture of me when I got married two years ago. I don't know what I weighed. I just know that I was happy and I love my husband and I even loved my dress. I hated the fat rolls spilling out of the back of my dress. Honestly it makes me want to cry.

Prelude to Day 8

Beginning Points - 33 Daily Points + 29 Extra Points

I just want to start with the fact that I went to the Renaissance Festival this weekend. The fact that I have any extra points left is amazing. My first couple days I had problems hitting my points.

Day 1 - 21
Day 2 - 23
Day 3 - 33 + 2 extra = 35
Day 4 - 33 + 1 extra = 34
Day 5 - 33 + 8 extra = 41
Day 6 (Sunday: Points reset and we weigh in) - 33 + 5 extra = 38
Day 7 - 33 + 1 extra = 34

So now the world is caught up with my rolls. I didn't weigh myself when I started but I knew about how much I weighed from my doctor. I would like to use less to none of my extra points. Also I started walking the track at night again with Scarlett and Rayne. We've done it twice. I've done 3/4 of a mile both times. The first time I felt like I might have been able to do a whole mile but last night my back was killing me by the middle of lap 2 (1/4 mile track). I'm actually amazed I did a third lap. Go me!

A Journey Into Fat Reduction Begins With a Single Meatball

I've started Weight Watchers. I can't afford to go to the meetings but I am following the system. I have a bad back and bad knees and sleep apnea. My weight makes all of this worse. I currently weigh 266 pounds. I started on September 8th. My wonderful wonderful husband is doing it with me. My wonderful friends are doing it with me too. They are my support system so I stay focused and on the right path. Here's to a thinner me!
